Additional comments from this report: "Bite was super tough today with the full moon pulling up yesterday. A lot of roaming fish up high in the water column that wouldn’t commit to the jighead minnow. When I found one positioned on boulders, I dropped this bait down and absolutely smoked them! Incredible little bait!!!"

More of a dead stick approach, and patience was rewarded with a good day of none too big but had good number caught which made a good morning out. "

Smallies were coughing up good sized perch and minnows. Used a fairly long dropper (~20”) and the small soft jerkbait outproduced the maxscent for once."

Additional comments from this report: "Bass seem to still be on the full range from main lake points to mid-creek channel and into the back of creeks. Saw some crappie on bed, with bass nearby. Caught a few bass on laydowns, but more seemed to be in 6-8’ of water along channel swings. "

Additional comments from this report: "Hot water temps have pushed the Smallmouth into full Summer pattern. Productive depths averaged 16-18ft. Isolated vegetation held groups of similar sized fish, competition was low between fish, and fishing pressure was high. Moving to 1/4oz from 3/8oz unlocked some bites."

Water temps are rising into the mid 70’s and the fish are finally starting to transition to summer patterns. Drop shotting homemade rubber dice and Xzone Deception Worms along the weed edges was productive. We were also able to drag 1/2 ounce football jigs to pick off a few of the better fish. Weekend recreational boaters were abound no matter where we tried to get away from them.
