Berkley Trilene XL

Reported by
Kail’s Fishing Reports

Lake Minnetonka (MN)

Kail’s Fishing Reports reported catching Crappie using the Bobbers technique and Berkley Trilene XL on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "Sometimes the dead stick is the right stick!, I was out and throwing everything at them and nothing was working other them the simple jig and a bobber. Drill out a area in the basin, I like to hang on the edge where the drop off ends and start there. Use your electronics and set your bobber just above the fish. Crappies feed up and just let your waxie or minnow do the work. If using a minnow hook it just behind the dorsal fin. Good Luck!"

Stephanie Lawson

Clearwater Lake (MN)

Stephanie Lawson reported catching Panfish / Bluegill using the Bobbers technique and Berkley Trilene XL on Clearwater Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Crappies were in the muddy bays to feed up along the reeds. Would pitch into 4 feet of water with my bobber set at only 12 inches below surface. "

Reported by
Aaron

Herrington Lake (KY)

Aaron reported catching Panfish / Bluegill using the Bobbers technique and Berkley Trilene XL on Herrington Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Kids had a fun time catching a lot of bluegills from the pontoon, kayak and dock. They had to sort through many scrappy smaller fish to find the quality size gills. The shady areas of docks and main lake bluff walls were the primary locations. Vertical jigging or casting a float and jig to the dropoffs or shaded areas proved to be the most consistent presentation. Great way to get young kids hooked on fishing!"

Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon

$26.99 – 137.99

Reported by
SoMo Fish Co

Lake Taneycomo (MO)

SoMo Fish Co reported catching Trout using the Bobbers technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Lake Taneycomo. Additional comments from this report: "Drifted #16 scuds in the trophy area. Numbers were good. Size was average for the day. All scuds were tied on a #16 hayabusa Fly 384. "

Reported by
David Jue

Caballo Reservoir (NM)

David Jue reported catching Trout using the Bobbers technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Caballo Reservoir. Additional comments from this report: "Trout and Walleye were stationed behind big rocks with low current. In-line spinners in natural colors or white and garlic scented dough bait worked well."

Sufix Elite

$7.99 – 8.99

Reported by
IammN

Crow Wing Lake (MN)

IammN reported catching Panfish / Bluegill using the Bobbers technique and Sufix Elite on Crow Wing Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Set your bobber 2 ft. Use small red worms with a trailer. The Bluegills hit better with live fresh worms...change often. Cast out near the current but at the ledge. The fish are sitting in the calm away from the strong current. Attach your lure with a loop knot."

Reported by
Bass Brawl Outdoors

Rush Lake (MN)

Fish are starting to make beds. Use your electronics to scan out in front of the docks and zig zag the flats looking for the colonies of nests. Once you find them, mark them and anchor close. Slip bobbers and/or casting small jigs past the beds and slowly bringing across them has produced a bunch of nice fish. Make sure to release the large male gills. They are the most important fish to maintain a large size structure in the lake.

Keith Mccullough

Broken Bow Lake (OK)

Keith Mccullough reported catching Crappie using the Bobbers technique and Sufix Elite on Broken Bow Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Find rocky banks in back off coves where crappie would be spawning and start with your bobber depth around 6ft and start to figure out how deep you need your jig to be. You will have to move your bobber up and down to figure out the right depth. You can throw it out and let it just set or you can pop and reel the bobber back in super slow. Also if you see any buck brush in the water be sure to cast around it because the crappie love to spawn around it as well. "
