Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon

$26.99 – $137.99

Reported by
GDhein

Lake Minnetonka (MN)

GDhein reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Football Jigs technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "Targeted scattered rocks and hard bottom areas near what is left of the deep weed line Slowly dragged the jig with occasional small hops Water temps in the low 70s"

Reported by
Jacob Bros

East Lake Sylvia (MN)

Found multiple schools of largemouth on rocks in about 12-15 feet of water. Bluegill colored football jigs were the best baits.

Reported by
PunchFishing

Grindstone Lake (WI)

It's mid July and the smallies can be found in 10-15' near the obvious rocky points on the lake. Dragging football jigs slowly around the rocks can get bit during the day. As sunset approaches, the fish tend to move up shallower. Late in the day the smallies seem to move up into that 3'-6' range and can be caught on almost anything. The offshore reefs can get hot at dusk.

Sunline Super FC Sniper

$19.99 – $138.99

Reported by
Damien Luchterhand

Serpent Lake (MN)

Damien Luchterhand reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Football Jigs technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Serpent Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Fish were on small main lake points with a grass to weed transition. Dragging a football jig caught fish and I was able to clean up a couple extra bites with a neko rig. Both smallies and largies "

Reported by
Mac

Table Rock Lake (AR, MO)

Drag heavier football jigs across rock points, usually you can pull up on a point and catch a couple fairly quick. Keep hopping points if the first few didn't work, don't spend too much time in one area. Good time of year to catch a 5 fish limit of 12-15 lbs

Reported by
Matthew Mattingly

Barren River Lake (KY)

Matthew Mattingly reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Football Jigs technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Barren River Lake. Additional comments from this report: "The cold front we have had seems to have knocked fish back a little. Only seen two fish up on the bed and very few cruising. Backed off and started fishing spawning flats and shallows points with a Swing Head to combat that. Reeling it just along the bottom bumping the pea gravel rocks. "

Sufix 832 Braid

$15.99 – $109.99

Reported by
Punk Rock Mike

Lake Sarah (MN)

Punk Rock Mike reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Football Jigs technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Lake Sarah. Additional comments from this report: "Caught a pipe of 3-3.5lbs largemouth fishing rock piles in about 10-15ft of water. Dragging and hopping the riot baits Lil creeper was the deal. But once the bite slowed down I would follow it up with a dinner on a ned head dragging slow for a few extra bites "

Reported by
Dan

Indian Lake (MN)

Dan reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Football Jigs technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Indian Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Spent a good hour and a half flipping the grass with a Texas rig and it wasn’t very production. Switched to a jig and caught 17” my first cast and a smaller 14” the second. The rest of the time was more of the same. Cruising the weed flats and slowing working through them and watching the pockets and irregularities in the grass. "

Reported by
For Rod And Reel

Eagle Lake (MI)

For Rod And Reel reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Football Jigs technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Eagle Lake. Additional comments from this report: "I'd take a football jig by strike king, probably brown or green pumpkin, and pair it with a Googan Alabama Krackin Craw. That seems to work best for early spring fishing (spawn). Just work it nice and slow around the banks and you'll get hit."
