Green Lake (MN)
The bass seemed to be staging up to prespawn this spring. Find the flat basins in 4-6 feet and throw a black and blue swim jig and chatterbait and you should find them. The seemed to like the moving baits on this day as we caught numbers and size with both black and blue swim jigs and chatterbaits. A few were caught on green pumpkin as well.

Mitch Bradshaw reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Swim Jigs technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Otter Lake. Additional comments from this report: "I checked out a new lake for me on my kayak. The shallows were littered with gills and I think the Bass had already spawned. The lake is shallow and hard to find an outside weedline but I tried to stay away from the bank while slowly swimming a jig through pads. I caught a lot of smaller buck bass and even a few on a topwater frog."
