Omnia collects thousands of detailed fishing reports from anglers across the country to power our local recommendations. Here are the top Line recommendations for using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique mentioned in fishing reports from anglers near you.

Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon

$26.99 – $137.99

Reported by
Seth Akenson

Pool 2 Mississippi (MN)

Seth Akenson reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Pool 2 Mississippi. Additional comments from this report: "The river is around flood levels and moving fast. Fish were found in backwaters that were less stained and tight to cover (boulders and laydowns). Squarebills early and Texas rig tubes in the afternoon seemed to work best."

Reported by
Helter_Stelter

Goose Lake (MN)

Helter_Stelter reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Goose Lake. Additional comments from this report: "The weather is definitely getting cold, throwing squarebills over submerged grass seemed to be what they were looking for, as I had trouble getting them to bite anything else. Lock a square bill in your hand and get them fired up. Lots of schooling fish starting to happen."

Reported by
LipRipper_MN

Lake Pepin (MN, WI)

LipRipper_MN reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Lake Pepin. Additional comments from this report: "Focused my time on rock points that were in direct sunlight, slow rolling with this flat sided crank with occasional pauses and change in speeds! "

Sunline Super FC Sniper

$21.99 – $138.99

Reported by
Yakcaptn

Hyland Lake (MN)

Yakcaptn reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Hyland Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Working weed edges and ledges keep fanning the area and bumping the squarebill off as much stuff as possible"

Reported by
Jim

Coon Lake (MN)

Jim reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Coon Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Fishing was a grind today but the Hybrid Hunter around healthy coon tail in 6-9' of water in flats was key especially as this bait comes through grass well. The Bass and Pike that went after it were very aggressive with it."

Reported by
Connor Nagy

Big Lake Mississippi Pool 4 (WI)

Connor Nagy reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Big Lake Mississippi Pool 4. Additional comments from this report: "Got into some good smallmouth cranking rip rap"

Seaguar Red Label 100% Fluorocarbon

$15.79 – $83.99

Reported by

Reported by
Dick Majewski

Wolf River (WI)

Dick Majewski reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Seaguar Red Label 100% Fluorocarbon on Wolf River. Additional comments from this report: "Bite was light, but fish were holding tight to the lower portion of the riprap near larger rocks."

Reported by
Adam Boothe-Hanna (Anglers of the Corn)

Carter Lake (IA, NE)

Adam Boothe-Hanna (Anglers of the Corn) reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Seaguar Red Label 100% Fluorocarbon on Carter Lake. Additional comments from this report: "TONS of shad up shallow, and I mean TONS. I snagged one that was probably 12 inches. That made it TOUGH, but it was worth the wait because big mama bit my 6th Sense Crush 50x right before I needed to get off the water. I was targeting shallow rip rap in the extremely dirty water hitting every rock I possibly could and that's what seduced Bertha. "
