Better 3lb class fish were caught on a jig near deeper water. Water was super clear as always with temps down to the low 70s."

Reported by
CJ Xiong
Jetzers Lake (WI)
CJ Xiong reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Jetzers Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Started out pitching jigs along the reeds because I assumed the bass were still in their spawn mode. Managed to get a few in the boat. Moved off the shoreline after seeing a lot of cruisers in the 6-8ft of water range. Tossing bluegill pattern jigs and chatterbaits seemed to be the ticket because I noticed the bluegills were on beds already. Caught bass all throughout, couldn't really pattern them well today. Got them along the reeds and off the deeper drop offs with jigs, and in between by burning a chatterbait. The bass are all pretty much post-spawn already, a bit earlier than many of the other lakes in the area."

Ben Gleason
Norris Lake (TN)

Jeff reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Structure Jigs technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Clam Lake . Additional comments from this report: "I headed to the Northside River mouth and through a jig (or your favorite texas rig) at the laydowns. Mixed bag of large and smallmouth. I had a neko rig for in between. Also used the neko on the main lake where I found mud to sand transitions with pads/reeds. Docks are also usually good"
