Sufix 832 Braid

$13.29 – $115.99

Reported by
Tom

Chisago Lake (MN)

Tom reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Walking) technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Chisago Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Get to this access early. Lots of bass fisherman at this lake in the morning then changes over to recreational boaters later in the day. Work your way around the East side of Chicago Lake. there you'll find submerged trees that shoot out of the water. Toss your frog (or also now a spider) around those trees for nice largemouth. As you move further South along that edge, there will be a bay full of lily pads. Have a blast tossing frogs, wacky rigs, ned rigs and dragging Texas rigs on and through those lilys. If bass are deep, tie on a drop shot set up just north of the islands above deep grass mats in 13 ft of water."

Colder mornings here, fish have split off off weedlines and moved to hard structure (rock, drop-offs, and wood) covered lots of water with the Strike King Sexy Dawg and other moving baits imitating shad! "

I was trying to pitch some laydowns but was not successful.I noticed a lot of dragonflies landing on the water and a few blowups, so I tied on the hellraizer and started walking it past the lay downs and about the third cast it got hit hard. Reported by
Dicky D

Upper Cormorant Lake (MN)

Dicky D reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Topwater (Walking) technique and Seaguar Smackdown Braided Line on Upper Cormorant Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Just got back from Upper cormorant Lake for a week with my family. This was some of the most exciting topwater fishing I have ever seen. Water temperature was mid 70s and water clarity was maybe 1 - 2 feet due to a algal bloom. Fins any shallow water cover and hold on. This big bait seemed to really draw them to the bait. It really excelled in the morning and at the end of the day, but by the end of the trip I was throwing it all day. "
