Reported by
Tyler Wilson
Lake Eufaula (Walter F George) (AL, GA)
Tyler Wilson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and PowerPro Spectra Braid on Lake Eufaula (Walter F George). Additional comments from this report: "Fishing was tough as the lake is transitioning from summer to fall. The shad are small and grouped up every where from the backs of creeks to the main lake. I was able to run all over the upper half of the lake fishing lay downs for staging fish that were waiting on an easy meal. "

Reported by
John King
Doctors Lake (FL)
John King reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and PowerPro Spectra Braid on Doctors Lake. Additional comments from this report: "A quick fishing session where my phone died. Lots of structure and cover along the banks and docks. Was out in the kayak on the way back to the launch while trolling The 3/8 oz booyah buzzbait thankfully heard the drag clicker start up. Thinking i was stuck on something I looked back and behold an aggressive 2 lb Florida bass hit it. Definitely a welcomed surprise! "
Sufix 832 Braid
$19.99 – $140.99

Reported by
Kyler Branaum
Rough River Lake (KY)
Kyler Branaum reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Rough River Lake. Additional comments from this report: "You can catch them on the outside ends of docks in the fall on a buzz-bait, take the skirt off the bait and put the zoom horny toad as the trailer. The braid and medium action rod will give you no stretch on the hookset, and keep them pinned while bringing them into the boat"

Reported by
Cory Guinn Outdoors
Lake Keowee (SC)
Cory Guinn Outdoors reported catching Spotted Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Lake Keowee. Additional comments from this report: "Target laydowns and isolated cover especially around bluegill beds located in very backs of creeks and pockets. Parallel the bank making very long cast. Braided line helps with hook sets."

Reported by
Omnia Fishing
Shearon Harris Reservoir (NC)
Omnia Fishing reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Shearon Harris Reservoir. Additional comments from this report: "I've had the best luck cruising points looking for large schools of shad. Casting a buzz bait over the top has been fun. Casting a jigging spoon or a weighted soft jerk bait has caught me some fish as well. The dog days of summer have made #'s hard to come by for me anyway. The buzz bait has been the confidence lure for me lately."

Fishing early morning and hitting all the primary points and secondary points. Caught several over 4lbs, 5lbs was the biggest. Varying the retrieve from slow to fast attracked the strike. The fish are moving back to secondary points, the water tempature has dropped drastically in the past 10 days. "
