Lake Minnetonka (MN)

Reported by
Matthew Mattingly
Cedar Creek Lake (KY)
Matthew Mattingly reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Cedar Creek Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Pre-spawn, shallow water, big swimbait and big bass. Getting back into the warmest water in each creek and slow rolling a magdraft over submerged hydrilla was the most productive. Not a ton of bites but the ones I got were the right kind"

Irondequoit Bay (NY)
Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Irondequoit Bay. Additional comments from this report: "200 size reel always seemed to big, this holds the right amount of line for anything above 16lbs. 16lbs and under I use the 70 size. Reel does what its supposed to throwing swimbaits and spinnerbaits on deeper ledges. "
Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon
$26.99 – 137.99

Reported by
Max Newkirk
Kentucky Lake (TN)
Max Newkirk reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Kentucky Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Caught a ton of fish on shallow-medium crank baits on points but the big fish came on a Magdraft later in the day. Look for shad hugging the bottom or jumping up top if the wind is right. "

Reported by
T.Cfish
Lake Norman (NC)
T.Cfish reported catching Spotted Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Lake Norman. Additional comments from this report: "Was in town for the Bassmaster College series. Found both pre spawn and spawning fish in the back thirds of the pockets. Caught both spots and largemouth. A Magdraft and a fluke were good for finding the beds then we would follow up with a wacky rig or a drop shot."

LakeDelavanKid
Lake Cumberland (KY)
LakeDelavanKid reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Lake Cumberland. Additional comments from this report: "Fishing should be heating up here in the next few weeks targeting big largies on first and secondary points chucking a magdraft. A 4 Mississippi count and then slow roll 3/4 way in the water column. "
Sufix Advance Fluorocarbon
$23.99 – 38.99

Reported by
Dylan Sluis
Smith Lake (MN)
Dylan Sluis reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Sufix Advance Fluorocarbon on Smith Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Pretty cool lake. It doesn't have very many big ones but has a lot of largemouth. Went out here on opener and caught a bunch of fish. I was catching them on a Megabass Magdraft or a River 2 Sea S-Waiver. And I will tell ya this is my favorite way to catch pre spawn bass. There is nothing like it. I was just working shallow flats just covering water with these big baits and catching the aggressive fish. If you have never used big swimbaits before, give it a try!"

Reported by
Seth Feider
Lake Fork (TX)
Seth Feider reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Sufix Advance Fluorocarbon on Lake Fork. Additional comments from this report: "In the morning I focused my attention on the shad spawn with a swimbait and a jerk bait. Then I would run shallow cover with a swim jig for spawners after the morning shad spawn was over. I caught a few key fish off of beds I found covering water with my swim jig. The last day a square bill produced for me on main lake points. This whole tournament was about adjustments each day."

Ben Demo reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "(6/10/2022 water temp low 70s) fished secondary points with a big swimbait looking for the right bites caught a few but not much wind blown banks and points got fish fired up to eat the big swimmer but if there wasn’t wind they lose interest. If anyone is interested in my fishing reports I just got my go pro set ups working and a whole system so videos will be starting soon."
