Additional comments from this report: "Absolutely smashed them on a Magdraft and a chatterwagon today. Shallow docks, skipping the magdraft under them. Caught a ton of fish. Once that bite slowed, I switched to fishing pad growth with a chatterbait and started smashing them again. There were some smallies on beds, but not too many. Only caught one off of a bed. Wish I could add more pictures!"

Getting back into the warmest water in each creek and slow rolling a magdraft over submerged hydrilla was the most productive. Not a ton of bites but the ones I got were the right kind"

Additional comments from this report: "200 size reel always seemed to big, this holds the right amount of line for anything above 16lbs. 16lbs and under I use the 70 size. Reel does what its supposed to throwing swimbaits and spinnerbaits on deeper ledges. "

Caught in approximately 5 to 6 feet with xzone swammer rigged onto vmc minnow shaker head 3/8oz. Slower retrieval this morning around lay downs and brush. When sun came out the bite slowed down. Great area to fish."

So we focused on utilizing moving baits with noise (chatterbaits). We didn’t get quite as many LMBs as we would’ve liked, but did end up snagging quite a few pikes along the shallow weedlines (5’ or less). Bluegills are gathered along the shorelines with tons of beds."
