Additional comments from this report: "Was swimming the swimbait by docks and stumps and felt my rod twitch 2-3x! I set the hook and caught this big guy! Always a fun fight when you catch on a soft swimbait. "

Reported by
Chris Roerdink

Long Lake (WI)

Chris Roerdink reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Long Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Took a vacation day and had a great day on the water. Best day of the season so far. Fish had seemed behind schedule and not on normal summer patterns yet in my experiences until yesterday. Found a number of fish on weedlines and they were aggressively thumping the magdraft and getting it good. Best day I've had throwing it. Found one mega school and it didn't matter if it was in a bluegill pattern or when they destroyed that switched to albino and they ate that too. Once the school cooled off on the swimbait and i had lost a couple i switched to the jerkbait and it was back on and i caught a few more. Nearly doubled up for my first time ever as one was trying to get the bait out of the mouth of one i had hooked. after they cooled off on the jerkbait i switched to a drop shot I had rigged up with the Zoom Super fluke and picked off the last couple. Fun day on the lake! Biggest on the day went 4.18 lbs"

Kermit Parsons

Lake Of The Ozarks (MO)

Kermit Parsons reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Lake Of The Ozarks. Additional comments from this report: "This 734c is the best all around rod from dobyns. If you want a little bit slower tip go with the Sierra. If you prefer a little faster action go with the champ xp. Look for secondary’s near spawning pockets with mixed rock on them and slow roll this swimbait ticking the bottom. You could also do the same thing in these same areas with a wobble head. You could run the wobble head on the same rod reel line combo. "

Sunline Super FC Sniper

$22.99 – $138.99

Reported by
Ben Demo

Lake Minnetonka (MN)

Ben Demo reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "(6/10/2022 water temp low 70s) fished secondary points with a big swimbait looking for the right bites caught a few but not much wind blown banks and points got fish fired up to eat the big swimmer but if there wasn’t wind they lose interest. If anyone is interested in my fishing reports I just got my go pro set ups working and a whole system so videos will be starting soon."
