Additional comments from this report: "First summer derby of the year my buddy and I took the W throwing two baits. Put 17.37 lbs of river smallies in the box throwing a buzz bait and backing it up with a horny toad. It was mostly overcast allowing us to do it most of the day but when the sun peaked out we found shade and laydowns. We didn’t have a lunker but 5 really good quality fish. "

Additional comments from this report: "The muskie were absolutely crushing the buzz bait over the weekend on Dewey Lake! The muskie were laying in the shade lines and in the tops of laydowns. The first key was finding an area full of shad on the surface, the 2nd key was making long casts with the buzz bait and running those shade lines from the overhanging trees. Pick up some Booyah Buzz Baits and go try your luck at boating a big muskie, no fight like it!"

However, a toad toting style buzzbait and covering a lot of water helped put 16 pounds of largemouth in the boat. We had a lot of wind and overcast that day, and it helped generate a great bite. "
