Chickahominy River (VA)
Tim Miles reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and Shimano Vanford Spinning Reel - EOL on Chickahominy River. Additional comments from this report: "Practiced for a few hours for an upcoming club tournament and caught bass in and around grass beds and pad fields on Z-man Jackhammers and Zoom Trick Worms rigged on Bite Me Finesse Shakey jigheads. Caught many bass, including a few that had deformities like the bass in the photo."
Daiwa Tatula LT Spinning Reel - EOL
$159.99 – $199.99

Reported by
Laramie
Pleasant Creek Lake (IA)
We were fishing Neko Rigs in shallower water, from the bank. To work the Neko Rig, I cast it out, let it sink, give it a couple of hops, let it sink, and repeat.

Reported by
Omnia Fishing
Stockton Lake
Omnia Fishing reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and Daiwa Tatula LT Spinning Reel - EOL on Stockton Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Deep brush has been producing the bigger bites of late. Small window in the early morning with a topwater. Moving out to the deep brush piles with a Neko Rig works. I've been staying off the top of the piles and casting to them. Being vertical on them has been tougher lately, maybe due to fishing pressure. "

Reported by
Lonnie Bloom
Lake Minnetonka (MN)
Lonnie Bloom reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and Daiwa Tatula LT Spinning Reel - EOL on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "Ran several different sections of docks during my last derb on Tonka, almost exclusively threw a Neko rig at them. Finding the docks with tips in 10fow or deeper proved the best for size provided there was good milfoil present near the end or underneath the dock. It worked well as a means to cover water quickly, skipping it up under each dock from 3 different angles as we rolled up to, in front of, and past, and then moving onto the next one. Dead paused on semi slack line and then dragging it maybe 3-4" and then pausing it again, hopping did not provide the same number of bites. If it didn't get eaten after that second pause, reel in and do it again. Kick up the trolling motor speed and burn em, doubling back and hitting them from the other direction produced more bite as well. "
Shimano Vanford FA Spinning Reel
$249.99 – $259.99

Reported by
grantn_fishing
Green Valley Lake (IA)
grantn_fishing reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and Shimano Vanford FA Spinning Reel on Green Valley Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Fished a derb back in October on Green Valley. We got a horrible boat draw which resulted in the winning team sitting on my starting spot all day. Made some adjustments and just went junk fishing. Scrapped up 8lbs on a neko rig on some artificial rock piles. "

Reported by
Final Flight Outdoors
Watts Bar Lake (TN)
Final Flight Outdoors reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and Shimano Vanford FA Spinning Reel on Watts Bar Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Bite for me is getting tough. I feel like most of the offshore schools are in transition to their fall locations. Water temperatures have dropped considerably. What I did catch were on transition area docks or bass that were on bait balls in creeks."

Reported by
Tim Miles
Lake Anna (VA)
Tim Miles reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and Shimano Vanford FA Spinning Reel on Lake Anna . Additional comments from this report: "Fished Lake Anna's hot side for a third straight day and had another great day. Although most of the fish were under 2 pounds, I managed a few that were pushing 3 pounds, including the one in the attached photo (check out the fish's belly!). I caught this largemouth while he/she suspended in 10 feet of water over a 30 foot dropoff. I saw him/her on my Humminbird MegaLive about 60 feet away from my boat, and I tossed a Neko-rigged Zoom Trick Worm his/her way. I saw the fish swim past the worm and then make a sharp turn to eat it. I caught many more bass, as well as a few really nice walleye, during the day. All came on the Neko rig or a shakey head Trick Worm in black or Watermelon Purple Glitter (WPG) on a 3/32oz Bite Me Finesse Shakey Head jig."

Nate Nipper reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and Shimano Vanford Spinning Reel - EOL on Lake Ida (9). Additional comments from this report: "Using 360 to find irregularities in the coontail edge helped to produce a lot of quality fish. Both the neko and jig worm were producing. Neither one really out-fished the other. Both using a GP Zoom trick worm. The jig worm did seem to keep the buttoned up a little better though. Couple nice smallmouth mixed in off the same stuff."
