Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel

$304.99

Reported by
WhiskyFisherman

Shearon Harris Reservoir (NC)

WhiskyFisherman reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Medium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12') technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Shearon Harris Reservoir. Additional comments from this report: "First time on Shearon Harris. Fun lake. Very different than most in NC given abundance of bulrush on shoreline. Had cloudy skies with temps in low 70s and light to no breeze. Water was stained with visibility of 18-24” and temps from 48-54 degrees. Bass seemed to be stacked from the front of creek mouths to maybe half way back. Suspended offshore, mid-column in 8-15 feet of water. All of our bites came on crankbaits. "

Reported by
The Chub King

Lake Moraine (NY)

The Chub King reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Medium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12') technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Lake Moraine. Additional comments from this report: "April 15 Sunny high of 80. I usually do best on this lake in the grass but I couldn’t really find any good grass. I couldn’t really make sense of where along the prespawn the fish were. Cranking wood is the only thing that produced and you had to be bouncing the crank right off of it. Even that only had four fish to show for it. Threw the kitchen sink at them too. A rig jig chatterbait spinnerbait lipless all goose eggs. "

Reported by
Asa Adams

Lake Cumberland (KY)

Asa Adams reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Medium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12') technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Lake Cumberland. Additional comments from this report: "With the water finally getting color and fish settling into winter haunts, do not forget to run a tight wobbling Spro Little John in a craw color over those lay downs. Channel swing banks and even flats by deep water with larger logs on them can hold that kicker size large mouth. You will also run across some big brown ones! The tight wobble of the Little John is a perfect action in colder water. "
