Additional comments from this report: "Bluebird skies and 80°/ water temps were 75° -78°/ 5-8 mph winds out of the south. Priest is in the late summer/ early fall transition. Bass are just starting to school on shad. Today I struggle to catch 8 lm bass and 1 spotted bass - all on a shaky head. It was a tough day for all our anglers because it only took 10 lbs to win our seven hour tournament. The bass are scattered in the water column following bait."

If you fish methodically and take your time, The fish were there. Most were in the 16-20" range."
