Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL

$209.99

Reported by
Adam Radovic

Chickahominy River (VA)

Adam Radovic reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL on Chickahominy River. Additional comments from this report: "Targeting any rip rap halfway back in the creeks with chartreuse squarbills/flatsides. Largemouth feeding on threadfin shad in fairly cloudy water. When water clarity improved, moved to more natural shad colors. Keep a green pumpkin shakeyhead handy to target shallow flats and cypress tree roots between rip rap stretches. Bite picked up as falling tide current became strongest."

Anglers N Kayaks

Lake Mahopac (NY)

Anglers N Kayaks reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL on Lake Mahopac. Additional comments from this report: "In the Fall I recommend a SLOW steady retrieve and as SLOW as possible. I never felt the fish hook up, just felt added weight and the rod would bend into the resistance. Most catches were with 1 hook from the treble hook in the lip!"

Lew's Speed Spool LFS Casting Reel - EOL

$99.99

Reported by
Jim Hickey

Sondogardy Pond (NH)

Jim Hickey reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Lew's Speed Spool LFS Casting Reel - EOL on Sondogardy Pond. Additional comments from this report: "Day out on the pond where four baits produced fishing around different types of cover: pads, submerged weeds, docks and shoreline brush/laydowns. Spinnerbait, t-rigged senko and popper drew bass from edges of pads, docks and shoreline brush/trees while the squarebill crank drew strikes after ripping bait through submerged grass patches. "

Reported by
Dave Carroll

Lake Barkley (KY)

Dave Carroll reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Lew's Speed Spool LFS Casting Reel - EOL on Lake Barkley . Additional comments from this report: "First time one the lake this year. I thought the fish was a little further along but seemed to be still in prespawn mode. The smaller fish were up shallow. Big girls were out in lead in banks but still a little finicky. Shakey head worked but didn't catch any size."

Reported by
Dick Majewski

Lake Winnebago (WI)

Dick Majewski reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6') technique and Lew's Speed Spool LFS Casting Reel - EOL on Lake Winnebago. Additional comments from this report: "Caught fish hanging around docks, but moved just offshore and found a rock pile in less than 6 ft of water that had the largemouth and walleye roaming the entire structure. Changing up the cadence of the retrieve seemed to get the reaction strike. Also caught LM on swim jigs and Rapala Scatter Rap as well as a Rock Crawler. "
