Daiwa Tatula 300 Casting Reel
Fontana Lake (NC)
Ben Hutchins reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Daiwa Tatula 300 Casting Reel on Fontana Lake. Additional comments from this report: "I caught fish throwing an a-rig around bluff walls. Finding fish with livesocpe and then dropping the a-rig down to them can be very productive. "
Joe Pool Lake (TX)
Samuel Climer reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Daiwa Tatula 300 Casting Reel on Joe Pool Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Water temp 50-53 Water clarity .5-1ft Wind 17-29mph It was a very windy day today to say the least. The wind had me taking cover by the bridge part of the day after it got super windy. I focused on the main creek channel through the day. I found many fish cruising around deep points and drop offs in around 15-25ft of water. I was livescoping these fish which were suspended around 7-15ft under the surface. The Yum Brella rig with Strike King swimbaits. Most of the fish were cruising around looking for the big gizzard shad balls. "
Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel
Lake McBride (IA)
Pierce Knarr reported catching Striped Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Lake McBride. Additional comments from this report: "We were catching wipers on wind-blown points throwing single swimmers and a-rigs. Having livescope was key to finding the big schools. Hang on because they demolish it!!"
Table Rock Lake (AR, MO)
Evan Bull reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Table Rock Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Fished the A-rig in the backs of creeks and in coves, around smaller rock and gravel. And then right before I started throwing a Texas rig close to the bank, working it slowly along the bottom. Fish were all caught in 2-6 feet of water. With only about 1 ft of visibility. "
Woman Lake (MN)
plymouthfishingnick reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Woman Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Tough couple days, only caught a few fish. Had to find bait to find any fish. Water temps were 58-59"
Lew's Super Duty LFS Casting Reel
Kentucky Lake (TN)
Jeremy Harkins reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Lew's Super Duty LFS Casting Reel on Kentucky Lake. Additional comments from this report: "If you put the work in you can find the big fish in the right places. Smallmouth fishing has been good, but don't rule out big largemouth. If you can find them, take the time to get them to bite."
Lake Arlington (TX)
Samuel Climer reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Lew's Super Duty LFS Casting Reel on Lake Arlington. Additional comments from this report: "I primarily was using my Garmin livescope to find fish on small ledges that the creek channel ran by. I also found a large portion of fish on deeper docks. The fish are really aggressive in the body of water and aren’t afraid to eat big baits. All you have to do is throw the A rig out there and sink it next to the bottom. Many of the fish are sitting in the rocks next to the ledge and they will rise up to eat the bait! "
