Charles Bessel reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL on O'Dowd Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Took the kayak for a late evening outing. Tossed a wacky rig and tube jig at shallow points around the island for a couple of hours without any luck. Saw some fish on my graph in the main lake channel and decided to throw the slobberknocker with green pumpkin Razor ShadZ trailer and hooked into a handful of LM bass right away. "

Green Lake (48) (MN)

Josh Gernentz reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL on Green Lake (48). Additional comments from this report: "The best results were in 3-5 ft of water in front of docks or some shoreline structure were the weedline starts"

Reported by
Blake Wenthe

Chisago Lake (MN)

Blake Wenthe reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Daiwa Tatula SV TW103 Casting Reel - EOL on Chisago Lake. Additional comments from this report: "The bass are spread out. Some are spawning and others are pre-spawn. Caught big females in both deeper water adjacent to spawning areas as well as tucked way back into the spawning areas. Grab a moving bait and cover as much water as possible. Spinnerbait, chatterbait, underspin, paddle tail swimbait, etc. "

Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel

$269.99

Reported by
Patrick Mazurek

Cedar Lake (76) (MN)

Patrick Mazurek reported catching Northern Pike using the Bladed Jigs technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Cedar Lake (76). Additional comments from this report: "Weird fall transition this year with much warmer temps. Junk fishing, covering water, only nabbed a few pike. "

Reported by
Arron Bendt

Lake Washington (MN) (MN)

Arron Bendt reported catching Northern Pike using the Bladed Jigs technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Lake Washington (MN). Additional comments from this report: "Mid-afternoon fishing the weed line from 4-8 feet."

Reported by
Nate Nipper

Balsam Lake (WI)

Nate Nipper reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Balsam Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Pre spawn stained water is a great time to fish laydowns. I like to cruise areas with a chatterbait and then slow down with the jig thorough key areas or areas that just look extra good. I like to fish the chatter on straight fluoro this time of year in particular. It slows everything down a bit. The jig I also like on straight fluoro. Look for wood with warming dirty water and you should find some big ones."

Shimano Curado MGL 150 Casting Reel

$209.99

Reported by
Omnia Community Member

Lake Johanna (MN)

Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Shimano Curado MGL 150 Casting Reel on Lake Johanna. Additional comments from this report: "It's late summer and we have started to have nights getting down into the low 50's. In the early morning pike can be found in shallow vegetation, 5 feet or less along shore lines and shallow points. Moving out further to about 10-12 ft and working those same areas along the weed lines will produce decent bass."

petespratte_fishing

Lake Pepin (MN, WI)

petespratte_fishing reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Shimano Curado MGL 150 Casting Reel on Lake Pepin. Additional comments from this report: "Spent the morning burning that chatterbait over the tops of grass, mostly eelgrass, 4-6 foot deep is where it tends to stop growing. This creates a nice edge and natural drop off on the inside or outside weedline, reel just fast enough to feel the jig hitting the top of the grass! "

Reported by
The Founding Father

Lake Vermilion (MN)

The Founding Father reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Shimano Curado MGL 150 Casting Reel on Lake Vermilion. Additional comments from this report: "Better day. Slow rolling mini max over rock points. Shimano Mastiff 12lb held up perfectly. Fished clean and didn’t lose any tackle"
