Additional comments from this report: "From Feb-April is a great time for a spinnerbait on Green River. The fish are in pre-spawn, the water is warming, has a slight stain, levels fluctuate and the largemouth move with it. Focus on points moving into spawning areas and fish every rock and laydown you can. You may not get many bites, but they will be the right ones. A spinnerbait is a great search tool and can be fished anywhere on the lake. I tend to like a heavier spinnerbait to have the ability to fish whatever cover is in front of me whether it is 2 ft deep or 20ft. "

Start throwing your bait wide and get tighter if they are not willing to commit to something farther away. "

Fun fishing on Watts Bar, found largies along rip rap using bassman compact tandem spinnerbaits and little john crankbaits.

Skip a spinner bait around this cover early and move to flipping when the sun gets up. "

Additional comments from this report: "Water was murky following heavy rain. Most of the fish I caught were from running a spinnerbait through laydowns and flooded brush. The spinnerbait got me the numbers but caught some of my larger fish dragging a 1/2 football jig in the same areas as well as docks. "

We caught our fish throwing heavy spinnerbaits out on offshore humps. It fish were set up on humps with offshore grass.
