Trenton Webb
Old Hickory Lake (TN)
Trenton Webb reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Medium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12') technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Old Hickory Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Much to my surprise the deep crank bite is still on! Two of my biggest fish of the week came on both green gizzard shad 5xd and crystal shad. Ledges and points are where this bait shines (of course), but if you can find a deep flat it works there too. Get jacked up on caffeine and let er rip, you will know if they are there quickly. Remember “wind is your friend”. Tight lines, "

Johnny K
Normandy Lake (TN)
Johnny K reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Medium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12') technique and Shimano Curado DC Casting Reel on Normandy Lake. Additional comments from this report: "It was a cold cloudy day this afternoon with a little breeze coming from the east. I started fishing bluff walls and this pattern didn’t work so I started working my way into small pockets off the river channel. Eventually got on a red crankbait bite in the 5 ft range. The lure that got it done was a Rapala Rocco and Spro rk crawler. Gear wise, I was using a Duckett rod paired with a Shimano DC reel with 10 lb co-polymer line. "

When the current slowed, the TRD filled limits. "
